Working with Michael has been an absolute game-changer. His ability to capture the intensity, emotion, and split-second moments of athletics is incredible. Each shot tells a story — from the determination on an athlete’s face to the energy of the crowd. He has a real gift for seeing what others might miss. His work is amazing, but also Michael is professional, reliable, and truly passionate about his craft. We’ve been lucky to have him as part of Queensland Athletics team staff the last few years, capturing all event and age groups from U14 to Masters. Michael is one of the best in the business on and off the track! Tasked with profiling Australia’s team ahead of the 2025 World Para Athletics Championships, he went above and beyond to deliver high quality shots in no time. His friendly nature allowed inexperienced athletes to feel comfortable in front of the camera, and his flexibility in applying his talents to our goals made for a great service. Michael’s passion for athletics and people shows in his work and I’m looking forward to working with him on future Australian teams!
